Newgrange Open Farm and Coffee Shop

Newgrange Farm is a hands-on family open farm in the Boyne Valley. Children can hold chicks, cuddle kittens, pet rabbits, milk a cow, feed ducks and bottle-feed a lamb or calf.

Play areas include sand pits, pipes, a maze, toy tractors, go-karts, play houses and a dedicated under-five area. Sheep races run on Sundays, bank holidays and special-event afternoons when the weather permits.

A tractor-trailer ride may operate when the weather, visitor numbers and farm work allow; it is included for pre-booked groups. The farm also has a café and indoor and outdoor picnic areas.
