What to expect
Witness the age old tradition of wool spinning at Boyne Valley Wools, using wool from the flock that grazes along the River Boyne. Sustainability is at the heart of the wool studio’s practices, evident in the natural colours of the spun wool and the locally crafted items available in the shop.
Boyne Valley Wools welcomes guests to experience “Spin Me A Yarn” by Alison, a must visit for animal lovers and craft enthusiasts. Enjoy a short walk to see the animals, soak up the views of Newgrange and listen to Alison, a fifth generation sheep farmer. Watch a wool spinning demonstration and create your very own felt sheep to take home.
