What to expect

Knockalough - Mór Loop/Lúibe Mór Cnoc an Loig is a 10.4 km loop walking trail graded Moderate. Allow 3 hours 30 minutes to complete it. Follow the forestry tracks, country roads, farm boreens and pastures around Knockalough for spectacular views of the countryside. The southern end of the trail takes in the townland of Foilagoule and on to Knockacaranduff Commons, where clear sightlines to the Galtees, the Knockmealdowns and Slievenamon are achieved from the viewing platform at the old trigonometric station. Dogs are not allowed on this trail.
