Rathcroghan Looped Archaeological Trail is a 12.9 km loop walking trail graded Moderate. Allow 3 hours to complete it. Rathcroghan Archaeological Looped Trail traverses the archaeologically rich pastureland in north-central Roscommon. The trail is designed to bring the walker on a journey to 13 of the most prominent, mythologically storied and archaeologically interesting monuments at Rathcroghan – the prehistoric royal site of Cruachain Aí. Dogs are not allowed on this trail.
