The Organic Centre

The Organic Centre is housed in the iconic and award winning grass roofed building designed by Colin Bell. The Centre facilitates over fifty weekend courses annually. These include stone wall building, fermentation, renewable energy, pizza oven making, cheesemaking, alongside training in organic growing. Check out the free seasonal family friendly events throughout the year, including Potato Day, Apple Harvest Day, Samhain, a Christmas market, along with events for Biodiversity Week and Heritage Week.

The Centre has demonstration organic gardens with seven polytunnels, where they teach and encourage guests to grow organically themselves.

The Organic Centre's eco shop stocks organic seeds, tools, books, plants, seasonal vegetables and its own zero waste and craft sections.

The Grass Roof Café offers vegan and vegetarian food and is open every weekend throughout the year. The Organic Centre is linked by a trail to the majestic Fowley's Falls, one of the jewels of North Leitrim.
