John Hanly Woollen Mills, Shop & Exhibit
Explore a self-guided exhibition on Irish weaving with touch-screen videos, plus a woollen mill shop.
What to expect
Since 1893, the Hanly family have maintained a tradition of weaving from their mill at Ballyartella, in North Tipperary, only five minutes from the Dublin/Limerick Motorway, M7 Exit 26.
Today, this fifth generation family weaving business continues to produce a range of long lasting woven products using only natural fabrics.
Their self guided exhibition offers the visitor an unique insight into the history and continuing story of an Irish family weaving mill with touch screen videos for all the family to enjoy.
