Festival family favourite the Yulefest Movie Night returns in 2026, but this time we’re under cover! Get your family and friends together and come enjoy Christmas movie ‘Home Alone 2’ at the Yulefest marquee on Thursday 10th December in Kilkenny City.

Kevin McCallister (Macaulary Culkin) is back! But this time he’s in New York City -with enough cash and credit cards to turn the Big Apple into his own playground! But Kevin won’t be alone for long. The notorious Wet Bandits, Harry and Marv (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern), still smarting from their last encounter with Kevin, are bound for New York too, plotting a huge holiday heist. Kevin’s ready to welcome them with a battery of booby traps the bumbling bandits will never forget!”

Tickets: Tickets are €3 + booking fee per person or €10 + booking fee for a family of 4 (2 adults max). Spaces will be limited and tickets will need to be purchased in advance.

Please note: This is an outdoor event under a marquee covering. Wooden benches will be provide but you are encouraged to bring cushions, blankets etc and to wrap up warm. Due to the enclosed space, the sound accompanying the movie may be too loud for some very young children or those with sensitivities. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pets are not permitted at this event.
