What to expect

Fethard Castle Trail is a 0.8 km loop walking trail graded Easy. Allow 15 minutes to complete it. This walk goes along the side of Fethard Castle site, through Grangeville woodlands and over a stream, along Sluice Lane to the village and back to the trail head at Fethard Castle, passing the 15th century castle ruin, RIC barracks ruin, 19th century church and graveyard and crossing the stream by a bridge.
