Junior Le Chéile Cashel: Youth Creative Team Programme

Junior Le Chéile Cashel is a youth creative participation programme designed to support young people aged 14 to 16 in Cashel and surrounding areas to engage in arts, creativity and community cultural activity in a structured and supportive environment. The programme will work with approximately 16 young people through weekly creative sessions and public event participation.

The project will operate through weekly creative meet-ups where young people will take part in workshops focused on art, design, performance, media, event production and creative teamwork. Sessions will be practical and hands-on, allowing participants to develop skills such as poster design, decoration and set creation, basic media production, performance preparation, public engagement and creative planning.

A key feature of the programme is youth involvement in the creative delivery of community events. Participants will work as a team to design and support creative elements of Le Chéile Cashel events, including decorations, performances, activity areas and youth-led creative spaces. This will allow young people to apply their training in real community settings and gain experience of working collaboratively on public cultural projects.
