What to expect
This vibrant community programme brings people together throughout the year through a wide range of creative, cultural, and social activities. Regular weekly art and craft workshops , music sessions , and fortnightly handcraft gatherings provide opportunities for participants to learn new skills, share experiences, and express their creativity in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
A monthly traditional music group celebrates local culture and heritage, encouraging participation, connection, and the sharing of traditions across generations. In addition, members take part in a variety of cultural events and community activities that strengthen local connections and foster a strong sense of belonging.
Participants will also work together to prepare for and contribute to local events, showcases, and exhibitions, providing opportunities to celebrate their creative achievements with the wider community. Through creativity, culture, and collaboration, the programme supports wellbeing, lifelong learning, and active community participation.
