Getting there
What to expect
Samhain at the Crossroads draws on the atmosphere of Samhain as a threshold time - the end of the harvest, the beginning of the darker half of the year and a time traditionally associated with bonfires, feasting, guising, remembrance and hospitality for returning ancestors. This free, participatory autumn event features three creative workshops leading into a final community gathering on Saturday 17th October.
Developed as part of the new Creative Places Kilfinane programme, the event invites the local community to come together through folklore, seasonal traditions and hands-on creativity.
