Inishowen, meaning the Island of Eoghain, is an area steeped in history with many historical monuments dating back to early settlements including castles, high crosses and the Grianán of Aileach ringfort. It is an area of spectacular scenery, at every twist and turn in the road. A tour of this peninsula is a thrilling experience along the rugged coastline with panoramic views over Lough Swilly to Malin Head. Enjoy views overlooking Lough Foyle towards Derry City. The tour is fully guided with lots of stories, history and folklore.
Peter Mullan is a national and local tour guide, author and historian. Peter would love to show you the north west in a way that is most interesting to you. He can design bespoke tours to suit any requirements including ancestry, historical and spiritual sites and can accommodate up to 30 people with a bus transfer.
