The KinShip Project 2026
Join eco-arts workshops, talks and creative environmental events at the KinShip EcoLab in Tramore Valley Park.
What to expect
Created by artists LennonTaylor, The KinShip Project is a community-led creative programme based in Tramore Valley Park, using art, environmental learning and collective action to inspire deeper connections between people, place and biodiversity. The award-winning KinShip EcoLab is a hand-built public structure inspired by Irish vernacular architecture and serves as a hub for eco-arts, citizen learning and environmental engagement.
In 2026, the project enters an important new phase as Nature Network Ireland leads programming and managing activity within the EcoLab, supporting the long-term sustainability of the initiative and strengthening community ownership of the space. Through a combination of artist residencies, workshops, talks, creative events and citizen-led activities, the project will continue to engage people in conversations and actions around biodiversity, climate resilience and sustainable living.
The programme creates opportunities for participants of all ages and backgrounds to take part in creative environmental learning, contributing their own knowledge, experiences and ideas while building stronger connections with the natural environment. A new artist residency will support innovative responses to ecological themes, while the development of a KinShip 'Counsel of Communities' will strengthen collaboration between environmental organisations, community groups and citizens with a shared commitment to climate action and biodiversity.
