Carrickbyrne Hill
Families can go for a walk on one of three waymarked trails through Carrickbyrne Hill forest. There are different lengths to choose from.
Carrickbyrne Hill is a Coillte forest recreation site in Bree Hill forest, open to the public all year. Waymarked walking: Camp Trail (Yellow) (3.0 km), Hedge School Trail (Blue) (4.8 km), Forge Trail (Red) (4.9 km). There is a car park at the site. Facilities and trail conditions change with the season, so check the Coillte page before setting out.
