Michael J Quill Centre

Families can visit this centre to learn about Michael J. Quill, see local crafts being made, and buy some. There are gardens to explore and a coffee shop for refreshments.
The Michael J Quill Centre is located in what was formerly Saint Peter's Church of Ireland and is situated one mile on the Kenmare side of Kilgarvan, County Kerry. It is a memorial to Michael J. Quill, a native son of Kilgarvan, who was founder and first President of the Transport Workers Union of America.
The centre is housed in a renovated building and set in landscaped gardens overlooking the Roughty Valley and Ardtully Castle. Refreshments are available at the on-site coffe shop and quality craft items are available to purchase, many of which are made in the centre.
