This festival is all about yarn and fibre arts. You can browse and buy from over 30 independent artists, watch demonstrations, and take part in workshops.
Come spend a day surrounded by yarn, colour, and creativity in the heart of Ireland at Ireland's newest yarn and fibre event. This festival is all about bringing fibre lovers together whether you knit, crochet, weave, embroider, spin, design, or just love yarn.
Over 30 independent fibre artists, dyers, weavers, felters and much more from across Ireland and Northern Ireland will gather this October at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Athlone to show off and sell their work at our market hall, run workshops (spaces limited) and offer demonstrations.
The Midlands Fibre Festival does welcome children, and under 12s go free, but we do ask that children aged 15 and under are accompanied by an adult.
