Inishowen Head
Families can take in the coastal views, walk along the sandy beach, or do the Inishowen Head Loop Walk. There are picnic tables near the lighthouse for lunch.
Visitors are greeted by open coastal views of Lough Foyle across to Magilligan Point. Stroll the sandy beach, set out for the Inishowen Head Loop Walk or have lunch at one of the point's picnic tables, which are overlooked by the picture-perfect Inishowen Head Lighthouse.
The best way to explore the area is by foot. There's a small gravel car park located at Inishowen Head itself. Alternatively, you can park at Stroove beach car park and walk northward.
