Families can enjoy a walk through the woods to see Glencar Waterfall, which is especially grand after rain. There is a playground and a picnic area for families to use.

Glencar Waterfall is situated near Glencar Lake, 11km west of Manorhamilton in County Leitrim. It is particularly impressive after rain and can be viewed from a lovely wooded walk. There are more waterfalls visible from the road, although none is quite as romantic as this one which is mentioned by WB Yeats in his poem ‘The Stolen Child’.

The facilities on site include a car park, picnic area, public toilets, playground, tea room and Tourist Information Point.
