Families can walk the 2km Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail boardwalk, which leads into Ballycroy National Park. It is a good spot to see the Atlantic blanket bog and mountains.

From here you can set off on the Claggan Mountain Coastal Trail, a gorgeous 2km coastal bay boardwalk trail that leads you into Ballycroy National Park.

Ballycroy National Park comprises of thousands of acres of Atlantic blanket bog and mountainous terrain, covering a vast uninhabited area dominated by the Nephin Beg Mountain range. The National Park Visitor Centre is located just north in the village of Ballycroy, while the seaside village of Mulranny is located to the south.
