This spot gets its name not from some ancient battle, but rather the red of the cliffs at sunset. The view toward the southern coastline is dominated by a rugged landscape with many inlets, beaches and headlands. The three Islands of Inishsirrer, Inishmeane and Gola all add to this excellent view.
