Ireland West Bog Experience is a tour of the bogs of rural Mayo with local farmer and heritage expert Eddie Joe Dooney.
After a short tour of the farm, the guests will walk down onto the family bog. Guests will learn history, traditions, myths and legends of rural Ireland, while participating in bog cutting and footing the turf.
By participating in the traditions of working the bogs under the tutelage of Eddie Joe Dooney, guests will discover the hard work done by their ancestors.
