Living History: Bringing the 17th century to life – Sunday, 16 August
Families can step back in time at the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre and meet 17th-century soldiers, musketeers, and other historical figures. There will be a chance to see what life was like for a soldier and learn about the period.

Step back in time with Laoch Living History and find out what it was like to be a 17th century soldier under the forbidding gaze of a Drill Sergeant. You may have an opportunity to come face to face with the musketeer, artillery gunner, pikemen, halberdiers, barber-surgeons, blacksmiths, gunners, sutlers, monks, and soldiers from all over 17th Century Europe.
