Jungle City

Park benches, fountains, pavements and traffic lights will become perches, watering holes, hunting and grazing grounds. Hornbills will perch on lamp posts, tourists will be stalked by stealthy tigers and Spillers Lane will shake under the weight of stampeding elephants! Scores of beautiful animals , all of them endangered, will transform Clonakilty into a jungle. The sculptures are a free, all weather visitor attraction for Clonakilty. Each sculpture has been decorated by a different West Cork or international artist. A pop up shop will also be a feature, where blank miniature animals can be decorated by families. Safari trails, route maps, and talking animals will be downloadable via an app that will really bring the jungle to life.
